So Talking to Josh Henkin and he has created a VERY ROUGH Challenge with the Ultimate Sandbag. This is a challenge that’s similar to the RKC snatch test in that there are 3 components: Load, time, and STRATEGY. I went COLD into this thing with the only intension of trying to do 10 reps at the top of each minute. The load of the bag (about 90lbs. in this clip) completely got to me after the first 10 reps and my strategy was lost. Also, the rule is that you must catch the clean ON THE FISTS and also complete the ENTIRE PRESS with the bag on the fists….if the bag slips off during the press (like a lot on this clip) they DO NOT COUNT! (ugh). I will be programming some training for this challenge and will update with more vids as I get better. This is a very technical lift with a HEAVY loaded USB (100lbs is the weight for those of us over 200lbs).

Here are the testing standards:

160lbs an under = 70lb Strength USB

161-199 = 80lb Burly USB

200lbs and over = 100lb. Burly USB
