BID VID – “Kipping” Pull-up

Notice the “quotes” around the word Kipping??? You should…this is because when I perform or have folks perform my ‘kip’, it is a power generating move at the beginning of the pull that is pretty subtle and not anything like the ‘flying fish’ version we see on the internet. I am ok with this type of kip (in the video) especially for folks who have a bad habit of never letting themselves come to full extension – it’s a way for us to get through that tough spot and build good habits for a full ROM pull-up
